with gilt full-plate fusee movement, pierced continental style bridge cock, verge escapement, hinged gilt cuvette, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, with winding aperture at 2 o'clock, later gilt hands, contained in a lute-shaped silver gilt case, florally enamelled on the interior, the exterior with Watteauesque style scenes of a couple with musical instruments, the sound-board with cherubs and doves within gilt metal frame with wire strings, movement signed- 125mm long
