A FINE BELLE EPOQUE ENAMEL, DIAMOND AND AGATE MINUTE REPEATING TABLE CLOCK
The white circular dial with black Arabic chapters and rose-cut diamond arrow hands in a white enamel beaded frame to the light blue-green guilloché enamel rectangular watchcase with white enamel borders applied to the sides with two rose-cut diamond flowerheads, gold perlçae border to the white agate plinth, moonstone push-piece, with key, 1913, 10.0 cm. high, movement no. 18791, the movement is a quarter repeater on demand and "au passage", case no. 4248, in the original green leather fitted case

In 1904, the Yahr workshop in Moscow began to create enamelled objects for Cartier. Though Cartier never succeeded in replicating the enamel colours produced for them by the Russians, they managed to develop some original colours such as the blue-green present in this table clock, a favourite of Louis Cartier.
