A RARE CARVED EMERALD AND DIAMOND WATCH CLIP BROOCH
The cream coloured rectangular dial with black Arabic chapters and blued-steel hands in a pavé-set and baguette-cut diamond watchcase surmounted by a carved emerald of pentagonal outline, with circular-cut diamond detail, mounted in platinum, 1938, movement signed by European Watch and Clock Co., case no. 30685 (with 18K gold mesh bracelet to be worn as a wristwatch, no. 10910)

Although this object is not signed, the carving on the emerald appears to be identical to that on the "tutti frutti" watch bracelet depicted in: Baracca, Negretti, Nencini, Le Temps de Cartier, Wrist International, Milan, 1989, p. 232.
