A FRENCH SILVER CUP AND SAUCER
Paris circa 1880, maker's mark lacking
Of circular form, the cup on spreading foot, the body with wave decoration, fret border and reeded rim and with scroll handle engraved with the monogram "CL" within circular cartouche, the scroll handle with mannerist mask; the saucer similarly decorated, marked under bases and on rim - cup 12.5 cm (5 in), saucer 16 cm (6¼ in) diam.
