Pear-shaped and on oval spreading foot and with detachable domed stopper with serpent finial, the sides applied with cast silver male mask, lion's mask and foliage mounts, inlaid overall with silver birds, insects, scrolls, foliage, unrs, drapery, swags and masks in the style of Berain, each side with central oval cartouche enclosing on one side a naked standing female figure and the other with coat-of-arms, 21 cm (8¼ in) high
