A GOLD VISITING CARD CASE
circa 1930/1940

Rectangular gold box with rounded corners, decorated all over with horizonally reeded engine-turning, an oval plain cartouche on the lower right-hand corner set with the initials "pa", the hinged cover opening on the left-hand side, the push-piece on the right-hand side of the lid set with an oval moon-stone intaglio carved with a seated bearded gentleman in antique costume -- 78 mm high.
