A girl wearing a dove-blue striped silk bodice and white muslin chemise, a rose fixed at her low-cut décolleté, her high-piled curly powdered hair adorned with a matching rose and a green silk ribbon; oval -- 58 mm high, very fine gilt-metal frame bordered by a band of split-pearls twisted with a band of translucent blue guilloché enamel, the glazed reverse with a plait of brown hair surrounding a blue glass panel on a guilloché ground applied with initial "C" in seed-pearls.
