The Baronne de Montbrun wearing a low-cut white dress with short puff-sleeves, tied under her breast with a knotted pink ribbon, a light green shawl with multicolour-embroidered border draped about her left shoulder, her centre-parted brown hair dressed in ringlets and adorned with white and mauve pansies; oval -- 78 mm high, gilt-metal mount with engraved border; together with a miniature of the same sitter in short-sleeved black dress, School of Daniel Saint, circa 1815/1820, oval -- 78 mm high, gilt-metal mount.
