AUSTRIAN. A SILVER GILT AND ENAMEL HARP FORM WATCH
unsigned movement by Esquivillon & De Choudens, circa 1800, harp late 19th Century

the gilt-finished movement with verge escapement, pierced and engraved cock, square baluster pillars, chain fusee (chain lacking), hinged, the light blue enamel dial with Roman numerals with white enamel borders, dark blue enamel bezel with gilt decoration, the case with hinged base on lion paw feet, floral decoration to the border, the body with scene of a gentleman and a lady surrounded by floral decoration, the hexagonal shaped main column with floral decoration with twisted blue enamel centre, surmounted by an enamelled urn, with gilt strings, movement signed - 18cm high.
