Formed as a cast and chased crowned Imperial double-headed eagle holding an orb and an opaque white enamel cross and set in the centre with a shield enamelled with George and the dragon on a translucent red ground, within a laurel wreath and a blue enamelled ribbon inscription below in Russian, engraved on the reverse N 904 E.K. Trutovskii, in original box stamped Fabergé Petrograd, Moscow, London
