First blank leaf, title in red and black with engraved vignette, engraved frontispiece by Audran after Coypel, 28 plates by Audran after Philippe d'Orléans, 1 plate by Caylus, engraved head-pieces, 4 engraved tail-pieces by Cochin. (Some leaves slightly spotted.) Contemporary red morocco, covers with gilt border of large and small floral sprayls and scrolls within roll-tool edging, spine similarly gilt, g.e.
