The first with 62 albumen prints, 29 of these added at the end as an appendix "The following extra Photographs illustrative of the Report are not published, but the negatives are deposited at the India Office" with list of titles. The second with 20 albumen prints. Varying in size from approximately 4¾ x 6½ in. (12.3 x 16.5 cm.) to approximately 8 x 6½ in. (20.3 x 16.5 cm.) or the reverse. Each volume with printed plate numbers and titles on mounts, preface, contents listing illustrations, title, the first with map, half brown leather, titled in gilt on spine, t.e.g., the second re-bound in orange leather, gilt, t.e.g.
