An unusual album devoted to views of this area including several river and lake scenes, many waterfalls and a two-part panorama (not joined) of the view from Hotel Rock, Pachmarhi.

Album of 38 albumen prints. Circa 1890-94. 24 approximately 7¾ x 9¾ in. (19.7 x 24.7 cm.), the remainder approximately 6 x 4 3/8 in. (15.2 x 11.2 cm.). 15 of the larger prints signed Townshend and/or numbered in the negatives, the smaller prints initialled A.B.N. in pencil on mounts, titled and one dated Oct 90 in pencil on mounts, (one page removed and one image removed from an existing mount), half black leather (rebacked).
