Two albums containing a total of 102 individual albumen prints, approx. 4 x 3½ in. to approx. 9 x 11½ in. and one three-part albumen print panorama 5½ x 23½ in., the majority signed and numbered in the negatives Bourne (39), Bourne & Shepherd (1), Shepherd & Robertson (1), Rust (1), W. Baker (15), Baker & Burke (11), J. Burke (1), one signed in ink on recto J. Burke, the larger prints mounted one-per-page, titles in ink on mounts, each green calf (lacking binding to spines), gilt, titled, dated and initialled H.O.W. in gilt on front covers, g.e., large oblong 4to. Lot Essay

Mostly northern Indian landscape including snow scenes around Simla and architectural views. Also including a good large portrait of the Maharajah of Cashmere signed by Burke, another of 'Natch' girls and musicians, a grain merchant in his shop by Shepherd & Robertson and several smaller portraits of dancing girls, servants and the young Rajah of Chamba.
