The firm of Prag-Rudniker Vienna, was a leading manufacturer of baskets and wicker furniture, and at the turn of the century, one which closely aligned itself to the ideals of the Vienna Kunstgwewerbeschule. They produced designs by, for example, Hans Vollmer and Wilhelm Schmidt, both pupils of Josef Hoffmann, and advertised their products extensively in association with other 'modern' manufacturers.
