Engine: Single vertical cylinder by factory; air cooled; 225cc; 2.5hp; sidevalve.

Royal Enfield began producing tricycles with De-Dion engines in 1898, and progressed to motorcycles with 211cc Minerva engines mounted above the front wheel. After the Great War production included their own 225cc 2 strokes, an example of which we have the pleasure in offering today.

The owner describes this original machine as being in very good condition throughout and running well. It has its original engine and log books dating back to 1928. It is fitted with a single saddle, rear luggage carrier and full lighting kit.
