Eileen Soper (1906-1990) became the youngest ever exhibitor at the Royal Academy when she had two etchings hung at the age of only fifteen. Later, she became famous both for her illustrations for Enid Blyton's books and for her drawings and watercolours of the wildlife around her home in rural Hertfordshire
