John Busby was born in Bradford. He studied at Leeds and Edinburgh Colleges of Art and subsequently taught drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art for over 30 years. He paints large landscape and abstract paintings and has illustrated many wildlife books. In 1993 he produced a magnificent Limited Edition book Nature Drawings, including over 80 drawings reproduced actual size
