The tripartite top with a central sliding compartment inlaid with a female portrait within a foliate arabesque border and fitted with a mirror frame to the reverse, lacking plate, above a well, flanked by a hinged compartment to each side with central divide, the laurel-strung frieze above a kneehole with a central drawer flanked by two further drawers inlaid sans traverse with a male and female portrait, on square tapering legs headed by ring-turned collars and on ring-turned feet
