Only edition. The plates are signed A.Joly, and tentatively identified as the lithographer and landscape painter Alexis Victor Joly in the Blackmer catalogue. Nine of the ten plates are adapted from the plates in Haygarth's Greece (see lot ?): they are identical in all important respects, the artist having changed only the extraneous details. Some of the added detail indicates that Joly had not visited Greece: a camel replaces goats in the foreground of a view of the Acropolis. Blackmer 881.
