cover 1854 (11 Aug.) entire letter to Porto Rico, bearing 1852-55 (2d.) greyish slate bisected vertically tied by "1" obliterator and showing fine Crowned circle "PAID/AT/BARBADOES" in red alongside as well as blue framed "HABANA" and "2½" with, on reverse, despatch and St. Thomas transit d.s.; the entire with horizontal filing crease and a little discoloured in the lower half, nevertheless a remarkable and very attractive franking.
