A Unique Bisect Cover
cover 1877 (27 Apr.) envelope to Paris, bearing 1873 intermediate perf 15 6d. orange-vermilion (slightly oxidised) and 1875 perf 14 1d. green single and a diagonal bisect with an additional bisect added after posting, all cancelled by "C" c.d.s., showing blue crayon "1", unframed "T/1-10" h.s. in bluish black, handstruck "17" and Calais transit c.d.s. with, on reverse, despatch, London and arrival c.d.s.; the envelope with central vertical fold.
