Dubbed 'The Prince of Goldsmiths' by the Italian poet Gabriele d'Annunzio, Mario Buccellatti (1891-1965) was the founder of the firm which bears his name. An innovator in all areas of goldsmithing, he was particularly known for his rich texturing of gold and inspired combinations of gems.
