A SILVER BOOKCOVER, the front and back embossed and chased with rocailles, scrolls and flowers, mounted all around the edge with a pierced border, the spine with the figure of Moses between two rocaille motifs and two winged human faces above and below, applied with clasps, inscribed in Latin with the owner's initials P A M and the date 1755 on the inside, fitted above with suspension rings, the mounts marked with maker's mark H H A, by Hermann Hinrich Albers, Hamburg, circa 1754
