A LARGE SILVER SYNAGOGUE CHANUKKAH LAMP, set on a domed circular base with spreading scalloped edge, decorated with a vacant scroll-cartouche, surrounded by flower motifs, foliage, shells and a border of semi-circles, the baluster knobbed stem decorated similarly, the uppersection consisting of four detachable spool-form knobs each fitted on both sides with a scrolled trailing grapevine branch, each terminating above in an urn-shaped holder with beaded foot, fitted with a detachable cylindrical oilburner and a removable wickholder, the centre surmounted by a baluster knob and a Star of David, fitted with a matching servant-light and an oil-jug, fully marked on all parts, maker's mark A T, London 1928
