A SILVER AND FILIGREE SPICETOWER, set on a circular stepped domed base, a baluster stem, the square filigree spice-section fitted with a hinged door, originally surmounted by four flags on the corners (now lacking), the openwork bell-tower hung inside with a bell, the cylindrical two-tiered spire decorated with two rampant lions flanking Tablets of the Law, topped by a compressed ball and pennant finial, minor damage, maker's mark E, Berlin, mid 19th Century
