A SILVER SPICETOWER, set on a circular domed base with scalloped edge, a tapering cylindrical stem, surmounted by a hexagonal spice-section, divided into six compartments, the pull-off hexagonal upper-section engraved to represent brickwork and pierced with arched window-shaped openings above, fitted with a hinged door, closing on a bolt, the tapering spire engraved to simulate roof-tiles, applied with four pierced turrets, each topped by a flag, the centre surmounted by a ball and pennant finial, minor damage, bearing an 18th Century Nürnberg mark, Germany, probably second half 19th Century
