A SILVER SPICETOWER, set on a circular domed base with spreading edge and integral tapering stem, the square two-tiered spice-section pierced with celestial bodies, fitted with a hinged door, closing on a bolt, the second tier with twin windows, each tier surmounted by a gallery, the pull-off spire engraved to resemble roof-tiles, fitted with small flags on the corners and topped by a small knob and a pennant, Germany, circa 1800
