A SILVER SPICETOWER, set on a shaped circular domed base, a pierced cylindrical stem with petal-shaped ends, the square spice-section pierced and engraved to simulate brickwork, windows and a clock-face with a movable hand and Roman numerals, fitted with a hinged door closing on a bolt, inscribed in Hebrew with the owner's initials, dated in Latin 1782, surmounted by a floral pierced gallery, a ball and pennant on each corner, the centre with a tapering spire topped by a ball and animal-shaped flag, some repair, apparently unmarked, Germany, late 18th Century
