A METAL CHARITY BOX, of rectangular form, painted in blue and off-white, the front centred by a rampant lion within a Star of David, inscribed below in Hebrew Keren Kayemet le-Yisrael in a rectangular reserve, decorated above with an oval cartouche inscribed JNF in a Latin monogram, the reverse with another Star of David, fitted with a coinslot and suspension hook above and a hinged cover with lock at the bottom (key lacking), signed at the back below Gerson Werk A.G. Berlin W.g., Berlin, early 20th Century, 12.7 cm high

ANOTHER METAL CHARITY BOX, of rectangular form, painted in blue, brown, off-white and black with the building of the Talmud society of Budapest, inscribed around in Hungarian Schasz Chevra Budapesti Talmud Egylet, the back and sides inscribed in Hebrew with quotations from Pirkei Avot and texts in Hungarian, fitted above with a coinslot and suspension hook and a sliding cover below (key lacking), signed on front below Magyar Femlemez Ipar R.T.
