A SILVER TORAH POINTER, the tapering cylindrical handle engraved with stylized foliate motifs, inscribed in Hebrew with owner's inscription [this] belongs to the society Doreshei Tov, New York 1895 surmounted by a domed finial with moulded band, ring and chain, the tapering cylindrical stem decorated with matching floral patterns and a moulded band, terminating in a hand with pointing index-finger, minor damage, marked on pointer and chain, by Alexander Sturm, Vienna, second half 19th Century
