Bookbinding. 18th Century gold-tooled, slightly discoloured green straight-grained morocco over cardboard, gilt-edges. 18 x 12.5 cm. Silver centrepieces: crowned scrolled foliate cartouches; 8 cornerpieces: flower motifs encircled by two S-scrolls and a shell; clasps: a flower on a scrolled foliate stem; all apparently unmarked. Spine damaged at head, only slightly rubbed.
