A DELFT DORE KAKIEMON-STYLE INKSTAND, painted in petit feu colours with flowers, insects and a dark blue rim gilt with scrolls, including:
- a canted rectangular compartmented inkstand decorated with a
ho-ho bird perched on a flowering branch to the front and to the
back, a mythical green tiger with dashes and curling tail to the
sides, surmounted by a bracket pierced with two holes and a baluster
penholder, the front applied with a gilt knob, 13 cm high
- a canted rectangular well and cover, the cover decorated with
florettes and applied with a finial
- a canted rectangular pierced sander and cover similarly decorated
to the preceding
- an indented rectangular stand decorated with a ho-ho bird perched
on a large flowering branch, surrounded by insects, 20 cm wide (the inkwell and both covers restored), early 18th Century
