A PAIR OF FRENCH PORCELAIN BLUE-GROUND BRONZE-MOUNTED TWOHANDLED BALUSTROID OILLAMP VASES, probably Limoges, gilt and painted in colours, one with a large medallion depicting a young girl draped in a flowing garment holding a dove, surrounded with scrolls, the reverse with a medallion depicting a huge bouquet of field flowers, the other with another girl holding a dove, the back with another bouquet, the flared neck with a band of rosettes, on circular pedestal base, the handles modelled as grotesque male mascaroons, the base mounted with vine beneath a pierced and scrolled regulator, both with glass shades engraved with the Four Seasons as female allegorical figures inscribed Auctumnus, Hiems, Ver, Aestas (one shade repaired, some gilt fading), mid 19th Century
