A DUTCH DELFT MIXED TECHNIQUE GALLANT PLAQUE, painted à la française after engravings by Boucher or Lancret, decorated with a blue and white scene of a young gentleman on a ladder beside a tree, putting two chicken in the lap of his lady companion, an opened birdcage beside them, the shaped rocaille border in relief, and painted in colours with three crests (extensively restored), mid 18th Century
