TWO DUTCH DELFT MIXED TECHNIQUE LOZENGE-SHAPED PLAQUES, painted in blue, one à la française after pastoral engravings by Lancret or Boucher, depicting a gallant couple on a small island with dense vegetation, he standing and holding a net while showing a large fish to his lady companion seated beside a fishfilled basket, a small village to the background; the other pastoral plaque with a joyous young man amongst flowering bushes, watching two marksmen returning from the hunt, a dead deer lying on a cart drawn by two horses, a small village to the background, the rocaille borders modelled in relief and painted in colours with scrolls and leaves (minor chips), 18th Century
