maker's mark only stuck twice, possibly a tree, probably Harlingen, circa 1680

Of trunk form, on ball and claw feet, the sides and cover pierced with scrolling foliage and flowertreads between reeded borders, swing handle, the underneath engraved with a marriage symbol and foliage, inscribed DIE SIGH MET GODT IN TROUW UER BINT AND ALTIJD DES HEEREN SEGEN UINT - 9.2cm long
