AN ORMOLU AND WHITE MARBLE GARNITURE
Late 19th Century
Comprising a clock and a pair of five-light candelabra, the clock surmounted by a foliate-filled urn hung with husk festoons, above the clock, the glazed enamel dial with Arabic numerals and painted with flowers and with pierced latten hands, signed H. Luppens & Cie Bruxelles, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike on a bell and with Mercury mask and sunburst pendulum, encased within four glazed panels with applied fruit and foliate mounts, on a rectangular base and toupie feet; the candelabra each with a central stem surmounted by a berry finial, with four further foliate-cast branches with foliate-cast nozzle and drip-pan, the lower part supported on four hoof monopodiae, on a square base and toupie feet
