The brèche d'alep marble top of serpentine outline, above a pair of drawers inlaid sans traverse with a foliate marquetry, within an ornate framework of scrolls and foliage with 'C' scroll escutcheon, the sides also inlaid with a foliate spray within an ormolu border between pierced keeled angles, on shaped square-tapering legs with unusual gorilla-mask feet
