AN EGYPTIAN REVIVIAL ROSEWOOD, BRONZE AND INLAID 'TEMPLE' TABLE CABINET

The shaped pediment supported with two columns, with a moulded cornice above a panel mounted in high relief with two winged figures, the centre with an ivory scarab in high relief and inlaid with emblems and a recumbent lion and sphinx, within a chequer ground, the reverse inlaid with two stylised birds and flowers, the sides each with a pair of hinged doors carved with figures, with mirrored interior, on an ebonised plinth base with 'steps' to the left side
