A MINTON MAJOLICA FLUTED JARDINIÈRE AND STAND

Moulded in relief with sprays of pink foxgloves on leafy stems and with overlapping ferns on dimpled brown grounds, beneath reeded green rims modelled with small scroll handles, the interior of the jardinière and the well of the stand glazed in pink (various surface chips and flakes to glaze, hair crack to base of jardinière, slight scratches to stand and interior), pierced for drainage, impressed marks and model number 1056
the stand 21½in. (54.5cm.) diam.
