THIRTEEN NAPLES (GIUSTINIANI) CREAMWARE PLATES
Late 19th Century
Painted in black and red with Etruscan warriors and birds within borders of paterae, lozenges, foliage, scrolls and flowers and shaped black line rims (one broken in two, three with riveted repairs, various rim chips), impressed monograms, 9½in. (24cm.) diam.; and three others of smaller size (one with rim chip to underside), 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam. (16)
