A triptych: central compartment, the Crucifixion; on the left hand wing Christ in the Garden and the Flagellation; on the right hand wing Christ presented to the People and Christ on the way to Calvary; and with Saint Norbert receiving a cope from the Madonna and Saint Francis receiving the stigmata on the reverse of the wings

An attribution to Pieter Claeissens I (circa 1500-1576) has been suggested

We would like to thank the Iconographical Department of the R.K.D., The Hague, for identifying Saint Norbert on the reverse of the left wing and for pointing out that this Saint was mainly worshipped in Grimbergen and Antwerp
