Painted with a view of Dresden from across the river Elbe, the reverse with a bouquet, each enclosed within a cartouche of flowers and fruit applied in high relief, flanked by turquoise scrolling leaf handles, the side applied with a cherub, the cover pierced with scrolls and with a large bouquet finial, on a spreading foot applied with a reclining maiden with a basket of flowers, gilt line rims (chips to extremities, maiden's feet lacking, some flowers detached, slight hair crack above one handle), cancelled blue crossed swords mark, incised mark
