- one baluster coffeepot and cover, with loop handle - one flattened teapot and cover, 18 cm wide - one flattened teapot and cover, 20 cm wiude - one sugarbowl with domed cover, 13 cm high - one milkjug with cover, 12 cm high - one bulbous teacaddy with domed cover, the cover with bun finial, 12 cm high - one slop-bowl, circa 19 cm diam. - three plates in sizes, 13 - 14.5 cm diam.

Lot Essay

The widow finial, in the form of a seated woman wearing widow's attire. One such finial was used by Josiah Wedgwood and called a 'sibyl finial', it has been said that it depicted a widow named Sneyd.
