The urn-shaped bodies painted with playful cherubs emblematic of Spring and Autumn within gilt rose and palm-frond cartouches, the reverses with flowers within similar cartouches, mounted with pine-cone finials, two ropetwist handles with female masks, rims cast with Vitruvian scrolls, leaves around the lower bodies, on fluted stems and shaped square bases (one cover restored, the other with rim chip)
