A similar dish of this same splendid Imperial design, size and palette was sold in our Hong Kong Rooms,31 October 1994, lot 599, from a European private collection

Cf. an almost identical Qianlong marked dish in the Idemitsu Museum illustrated in the Min Shin no Bijutsu, pl.172 and one in the Umezawa Kinenkan Museum, pl. 154; a similar piece was also exhibited in the Exhibition of Imperial Life in the Qing Dynasty, Singapore, 1990, Cataloque, p.12 and is now in the Shenyang Palace Museum
