TWO EARLY GREEN-GLAZED VASES, comprising a vase, hu, modelled after a bronze prototype with spherical body, tall base and waisted neck with dished mouth, the shoulder with moulded taotie masks suspending fixed rings between moulded concentric bands, the glaze finely crackled dark green, Han Dynasty, 39cm. high; and a Yueyao ash-glazed globular jar with rounded sides, high waisted neck and dished mouth with raised rim, the body with an incised trellis-pattern band at the shoulder and two similar incised loop-handles, all under a translucent pale-olive green glaze stopping above the pale buff biscuit base, 3rd-5th Century A.D., 23cm. wide (2)
