The attribution has been kindly confirmed by Professor W. Sumowski in a letter dated 26 February 1992 on the basis of a photograph, judging it to be a late work. He will include it in his forthcoming volume of his Gemälde der Rembrandt Schüler Band VI Nachträge under no. 2344A
