A RARE DELFT DORE DATED ARMORIAL "VAN HOEKKE" DISH, gilt and painted in colours with a large coat-of-arms depicting two fields with fleurs-de-lys and two with three arrows, surrounded with elaborate mantling flanking a crowned helmet, above a flying pennant inscribed C.V. HOEKKE.1719, a Mercury holding a caduceus to the right, the dark-blue-ground border with shells upon sways, stylized taoist symbols to the reverse (a hairline crack to the back), (in large fitted étui), circa 1719
